About Sidr Tree

The Sidr tree is one of the native trees that is well-conserved in the UAE. This tree belongs to Ziziphus genus of flowering plants. It grows in coastal, desert, and semi-desert areas. It is originally found in parts of Africa and Asia, but can also be cultivated in India, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, and parts of the Arabian Peninsula.
